Point #1 – God is after a relationship with us.  One that is dependent on His goodness and His goodness alone Psalm 23:6; Psalm 91:1-2; John 15:4-5, 7; Deuteronomy 11:11-15, 21
  1. Jesus came to take our condemnation upon Himself, so that you will never be condemned again.  Condemnation kills.  John 3:17-18a
  2. Jesus died for us and He died as us.  That is why He can always empathize with you, no matter what the situation.  1 Peter 1:18-19; Galatians 2:21; Colossians 2:20-23; Hebrews 4:14-16

Point #2 – God desires His great graces to flow into your life.  Acts 4:33;  Zechariah 4:7; 1 Kings 3:5-6

  1. The cross is the dividing line that moves us into great grace John 1:17
  2. The law = Moses and self-performance or performance-based religion
  3. Jesus Christ = grace and goodness and relationship-based Christianity  Psalm 27:13-14
  4. David said he was believing for good days to come into his life again

Point #3 –The resurrection is our receipt that our sins are forgiven.  Romans 4:25

  1. The forgiveness of sin is the foundation of all we teach and believe           Acts 13:38-39; 1 Corinthians 15:20-22
  2. God does not impute sin unto His people.  When you get saved, the sin meter gets turned off Romans 4:7-8; Psalm 103:10; Job 11:6

Point #4 – What you love most is a clue to your assignment.  Love births persistence.  When you love something, you give birth to a tenacity, determination, and persistence that is extraordinary.  What would you do if money was not a factor? This is a clue to your assignment.  When God calls you to an assignment obey Him.  Within due time, He will birth an inner desire for that specific assignment.  It’s one of the ways He honors your obedience.

Example:  Jonah loved preaching.  He did not mind traveling.  If he did, he would have stayed where he was.  But he left to go to Joppa because he was already motivated.

  1. Begin to believe God for purpose and destiny regardless of age or hinderances. Psalm 103:5; Jeremiah 33:6. Nothing incurable
  2. Your faith will increase as you pursue God given passion.

Example:  Jacob/Israel  Genesis 32:24-30

  1. Better days are ahead/your latter shall be greater than your first
